KASA is proud to announce its three finalists for the 2010 Fred award: Jimmy Hendren, a custodian and bus driver for the Hart County Schools; Brad Phelps, a custodian at T.C. Cherry Elementary in Bowling Green Public Schools; and Ronald Shoulta, a special needs bus driver for the Paducah Public Schools.

Chosen by a statewide judging panel representing school districts across the commonwealth, the finalists will be recognized at a special ceremony Friday, July 23, during the association’s annual summer institute for Kentucky’s p-12 school administrators.
Finalists will receive $250 each to present to the school program of their choice, overnight lodging at the Galt House Hotel & Suites and a distinguished marble plaque detailing the award.
The winner will receive $500.
