Rick Branham says, “There is no better feeling or self-satisfaction in life than to help someone in need.” This Title I Homeless Liaison for the Pike County School District is doing more than his job—he and his wife regularly open up their home to students in need. Rick has earned the trust and respect of his community through daily acts of kindness and through his utter devotion to helping those in need. From allowing a student to use his car to take the driver’s test to organizing and working a flood relief effort for 1,000 flood victims, Rick makes extraordinary efforts to ensure that no student goes without.
