Moments of Inspiration

Moments of Inspiration have become a treasured tradition at this event, and KASA is proud to introduce these special programs to inspire school leaders and remind them why they fell in love with a career in education—it’s all about kids here in Kentucky, and that’s a tradition we hope will always hold true.

Wednesday, July 18: Opening General Session

WWII veteran Bob Williams will help us kick off the 3-day leadership institute with his experiences as a paratrooper at Normandy and returning 50 years later (at the age of 70) to jump again. Come meet and help us honor this incredible leader.

Friday, July 20: Celebration Breakfast and Closing General Session
In this moving presentation, it hits home for many educators as they watch unsung heroes from their own districts be celebrated for exceptional devotion to kids. Learn how bus drivers, custodians, parents, volunteers, and others can contribute daily to positive and healthy places for kids to learn and grow. The presentation of Fred Award finalists continues to be one of the most prestigious and respected awards for non-administrative staff, students, or volunteers state-wide.
