Registration Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Cancellations

• All cancellations must be received in writing (mail, fax, or email) no later than Monday, July 5, 2010. Requests for refunds cannot be honored if received after that date.

• KASA will apply a $30 processing fee to all approved refund requests. (This reflects the cost of staff time to process the registration/cancellation and materials prepared on your behalf.)

• All approved conference refunds will be processed after August 1, 2010.

• Refunds are not granted for failure to attend (no shows), late arrival, unattended events or early departure.

Substitutions

• Substitutions or name changes are permitted for those wishing to be replaced by another representative from the district—individuals registered but unable to attend at the last minute.

• Written requests for substitutions must be received by Monday, July 5, 2010.  The request must include a completed registration form for the substitute.  After Monday, July 5, substitutions will only be processed at the onsite registration counter at the Galt House.

• A fee of $30 will be assessed to transfer a registration from one individual to another.  In addition, the appropriate member or non member rate will apply.

*Written cancellation or substitution is required to protect both KASA members and staff from the uncertainty and misunderstandings that may occur as a result of cancellations made by phone during a hectic work period.
