  1. Agree to watch a brief video presentation (15 minutes live or archived) demonstrating tips for communicating with legislators and effective lobbying techniques and review the KASA legislative program;
  2. Agree to personally contact your selected senator or representative (or both)  at least once per month during the legislative session (January, February, March, and April).  This contact would be more than an e-mail or a message; it would be by phone or in person in your home community (no travel to Frankfort necessary, unless you wish to do so);
  3. Agree to share the details of your contact via the Legislative Insider Community at connect.kasa.org;
  4. Agree to advocate during these contacts for legislative action that is consistent with the 2014 KASA Legislative Program as identified by the KASA lobbying team;
  5. Agree to leave messages or send e-mails when asked to do so by KASA lobbyists (KASA will provide sample content for these messages);
  6. Agree to communicate summaries of your contacts with legislators back to KASA lobbyists.
  7. Agree to continue to maintain and build your relationships with your identified legislator(s) after the 2014 session ends, through regular communication.
